Christine Ro is an Associate General Counsel focusing on litigation, investigations, export control, research security and compliance, cybersecurity, and government contracts.
Prior to joining Caltech's Office of the General Counsel, Ms. Ro was an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California, where her portfolio included investigations and prosecutions involving export regulations, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, trade secrets, cybersecurity, foreign policy, and complex national security matters. For her work with the Department of Justice, Ms. Ro was recognized by the Director of the FBI for Outstanding Prosecutive Skills and Assistance to the FBI in 2023.
Ms. Ro earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
